Our clients TSL Projects needed our assistance with the development of a new warehouse in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. Having worked with TSL on several different diamond drilling and sawing projects of various sizes, we were happy to offer our services and help with both the building and the fit-out of this brand new commercial building in the Midlands.
Upon building the office area of the warehouse, TSL realised that their clients would need more electrical sockets and boxes to power their various equipment. As they were keen for their client to move in as soon as they could, TSL required our concrete sawing and breaking services to make space for the engineers to fit their cables and electrical boxes flush with the concrete floor.
Using our specialist electric hand saws, we neatly and efficiently cut a number of trenches in the concrete floor, creating space suitable for the cables to be installed. We found that our hand saws were the perfect choice for this project as they are extremely durable and can cut through even the toughest concrete with ease due to their diamond-tipped blades.
It’s important to note that diamond hand saws, whilst excellent for cutting through a wide range of materials such as concrete, brick and stone, can also be dangerous for those without the proper training. It’s for this reason that we’d always recommend getting in touch with an accredited concrete specialist such as ourselves if you need to cut through tough masonry materials, but aren’t quite sure where to start.
To further clear the trenches for the new electrical instalments, we also used concrete breakers. True to their name, these are used to break through tough materials such as brick, stone, concrete and asphalt through their hammer functionality.
TSL were extremely happy with our work - the on-site team were praised for their cleanliness throughout the project, which is something that we pride ourselves on.
