A track saw, also known as a plunge saw or rail saw, was employed for this project. This specialised saw is guided by a rigid track securely mounted to the wall. This ensures exceptionally straight and accurate cuts, essential when working with structural elements.
Given the likely presence of reinforced concrete in the wall, a diamond blade was chosen for its ability to cut through hard materials with precision and minimal vibration.
